Long and Winding Road

This November has been a long steep mountain climb, like Mount Doom in Lord of the Rings.

Business has been horrid – people are not buying houses and prices are definitely dropping, so income has been zero (actually a minus as the French government take the same massive charges every month, even if you earn nothing).

However, next year it will be different, I have been working on the best Internet business since the abacus was invented and it will be a great success. I am working on my new websites and these are looking fantastic – it will a few months before this is bubbling and it is really exciting to get back into a real business again.

    Amen on the French Government.

I think it’s the hardest thing for the Brits to get their head round when they try to live in France- in the UK we all assume that you don’t pay tax unless you make money. In France you pay tax just for having money, or trying to make it, or because your Auntie once had it……….

    Keep up the good work
