Building Costs in France

March 21, 2008 by Tony · 3 Comments

A useful site I have written about before is Batitel – unfortunately they charge a fixed subscription of 90 euro a year for their online service, while this is excellent value if you are a builder, it is pricey for someone wanting to check on building and material prices for building work in France.

If the is a big enough demand I could try to give you a service for specific pricing and estimates – any interest?

    Hi Tony,
We have been trying without success to find a builder near Lezignan Corbieres to do an inspection of the roof and let us know what (if anything) needs to be done.

We would welcome a website which would help us to find a reliable builder.

a pricing guide would be really helpful, we are trying to renovate a farm house in the alps, and have no idea what to expect in terms of labour costs.

As a plumber, heating eng/ general builder, I would love to get involved in servicing clients in france. How can we break into this market? We are especially interested in alternative technologies and air source heating, which is especially relevent in this area.
