Three Little Words

March 3, 2008

I have said before in this blog that one of the most important things to look for when buying a home in France is to be able to go to the local bakers, buy fresh bread and get it home on the table when it is still hot from the oven.

Bread and Marmite

Here is a perfect Sunday morning breakfast table in France this Sunday, the UK “Sunday Times” ( a horrific price of 5 euro and a fraction of the size) - warm bread (it was hot to carry) and a large pot of Marmite.

I bought the “special edition” Marmite when I was in the UK for Valentines day last month - so here, for my family - Carole, Tony, Belle, Clio, Miranda and Jack - are the three most important words in the English language, (not Bread and Marmite) but “I love You”
