Chasing Rabbits

We now have three dogs, our old bearded collie, Suissie, has been on every website I have made in the last ten years, especially when we were renting apartments in our home in Nizas - if only to warn prospective tenants that we had a big energetic dog in the house.

We had some clients who came half way across the world to stay with us just because we had a dog and so that they would not miss their own dog so much - some super people came from Austin Texas and I got to know their dog, Fruitcake, by reputation.

We now have two more dogs, Bonnie, now a year old and Rocky, now 5 months

Bonnie is a hunting dog and Rocky has some Husky in him - so on walks, rabbits and hares are chased and sometimes caught (by Bonnie).

This evening was so still, nothing was moving, it was like jumping into the chalk drawing in Mary Poppins, all the colours were intense and every tree had cartoon birds singing, even the river seemed to have stopped moving - and the dogs didn’t even see the rabbits which were popping behind them up as if they were in a computer game.
